Electric buses have already been operating in regional public transport in Lower Austria and Burgenland since the end of 2024. In spring 2025, electric hop-on hop-off buses for tourist transport in Vienna were added.
In 2026, BLAGUSS reached the next major milestone in the electrification of its bus fleet with the introduction of battery-electric coaches.
The transition to an electric bus fleet
With twelve state-of-the-art, long-range electric coaches from leading global manufacturer Yutong, we are expanding our fleet with the latest in electric mobility.
We are proud to be among the first leading mobility service providers to offer our passengers and business partners battery-electric buses for both coach travel and long-distance scheduled services. Roof-mounted solar power: smart energy on the move
BLAGUSS pursues a holistic approach to more climate-friendly mobility: through electric mobility, in-house energy generation, modern infrastructure and technological solutions for future-oriented bus operations.
Together with our partner Green Energy, we are also implementing innovative technologies with measurable benefits across our existing fleet. Our bus fleet is being gradually equipped with solar panels on the roofs, which have been proven to improve efficiency in day-to-day operations.
This shows that, for us, more climate-friendly mobility goes far beyond the purchase of new electric buses. We are investing not only in new drive systems, but also in intelligent solutions that further enhance the day-to-day operation of our fleet in a targeted way.
